Woodstock Vermont is beautiful anytime of year. The Christmas season brings out a very special charm in this picturesque village. The fresh snow is the perfect ‘icing on the cake’ of this Rockwellian picture in motion. It’s one of those times and places that makes New England winters sparkle.
I drove north today to attend the annual Wassail Weekend Parade and other festivities.
I spent several hours strolling the main and side streets of Woodstock, admiring the welcoming doorways and dooryards.
Downtown was festive and alluring, even to a non-shopper like myself !
